How MIDAS collects, uses, and protects personal information for waitlist visitors and account holders.

Last updated 28 July 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how MIDAS (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you visit our website, join the waitlist, or use the MIDAS product.

MIDAS provides market information and educational tools. It does not provide a recommendation to buy or sell securities or other assets and is not licensed investment advice. Nothing in this policy changes that.

2. Who we are

MIDAS is operated by Maverick Technology. For privacy questions, contact us at the email listed in Contact below.

3. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated when you use MIDAS, and limited technical data needed to run the service.

  • Waitlist and contact details — email address and any message you send when requesting early access or contacting us.
  • Account profile — name, email, authentication identifiers (including social sign-in where you choose that option), language preference, and similar account settings.
  • Portfolio and product data — holdings, watchlists, preferences, chat prompts and responses, alerts, and other content you enter so MIDAS can personalise insights.
  • Usage and device data — pages viewed, feature interactions, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type, and diagnostic logs needed for security and reliability.
  • Marketing site analytics — on public marketing pages we use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to measure visits, referrals, and basic engagement. These tools may set cookies or similar identifiers and process data on Google’s servers (which may be outside your country).
  • Billing data — subscription status and payment records processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on MIDAS servers.

4. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Operate and improve MIDAS, including personalised market context, alerts, and product features.
  • Communicate with you about the waitlist, product updates, security notices, and support requests.
  • Authenticate accounts, prevent abuse, and protect the security of our systems and users.
  • Meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations where they apply.
  • Produce anonymised, aggregated analytics that cannot reasonably identify you.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to provide MIDAS or as required by law:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf (for example hosting, email delivery, analytics, authentication, and payment processing), under contractual safeguards.
  • Professional advisors or authorities when required to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights, safety, and security.
  • A successor organisation if MIDAS is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to this policy or equivalent protections.

6. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it. In particular:

  • Encrypted database backups are retained for 30 days, then permanently purged.
  • Anonymised, aggregated usage analytics may be kept indefinitely; they cannot be linked back to you.
  • Audit and security logs are retained for up to 12 months for fraud investigation and legal compliance.
  • Payment records are retained as required by tax law in the relevant jurisdiction.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data — including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we work to reduce risk and respond to incidents promptly.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage many account settings in-product, request account deletion from Settings, or contact us using the details below. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in those messages.

9. International transfers

MIDAS may process information in countries other than where you live. Where we transfer personal information internationally, we use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.

10. Children

MIDAS is not directed at children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated in-product or by email where appropriate.

12. Contact

For privacy requests or questions about this policy, email market@themidas.ai. If you contacted us through the waitlist or support channels, we may reply from the address associated with that request.
